                          In commemoration of the 123rd birthday of our Former Chief Minister,  Shri Karmaveerar Kamarajar who is also known as the "Kingmaker" of Indian politics, the Department of Art framed a massive portrait of him using saplings and children from Kindergarten to Class X, SMHSS, on the ground. 

 Shri. Kamarajar 's simplicity, integrity, and commitment to education was elucidated by the Department of Tamil. 

The Architect of Modern Tamilnadu, his portrait measuring 2500 feet was designed using 2000 and more saplings along with our children . The saplings were offered by the Forest Department and the children from KG to VIII.
