SORTING BEADS

• This activity can definitely be considered as an eye catcher to the little ones. For this activity all we need is a box filled with multi-coloured beads and small boxes which are painted corresponding to the colour of the beads. 
• The children were asked to pick the beads and drop them in the boxes according to their colour. This activity lets them know the wide range of colour spectra. 
• It also improves their eye and hand coordination as they differentiate the colours with their eyes and pick up the balls with their tender fingers. It triggers active brain function. 
• It increases also increases their psychomotor skills. Picking up the beads helps in better finger movements and strengthens their ability to grip onto the pencil while writing.
• The students thoroughly enjoyed this vibrant and enthusiastic activity.
