Health and hygiene aren't just about "staying clean"—they are about staying strong, feeling confident, and respecting ourselves and others. Here is a guide to the essential habits we teach our children.

Hand washing is the single most effective way to stop the spread of germs. We teach children to wash their hands:

  • Before & After: Eating or handling food.
  • After: Using the bathroom, playing outside, touching pets, or sneezing/coughing.

Oral hygiene is vital for overall health. We focus on two main habits:

  • Brush Twice a Day: Once in the morning and once before bed.

Feeling fresh helps children feel ready for the day.

  • Daily Bathing: Using mild soap to wash away the day's sweat and dirt.
  • Clean Clothes: The importance of putting on fresh underwear and socks every single day.
  • Nail Care: Keeping fingernails trimmed and clean to prevent germs from hiding underneath.

Respiratory Etiquette

  • We teach children the "Vampire Sneeze"—sneezing or coughing into the crook of their elbow rather than their hands.

Hygiene isn't just external; it’s about what goes inside, too:

  • Hydration: Drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
