Year planner, micro planner, and session plan are prepared by the subject teachers to deliver the fullest knowledge to the students in a systematic manner.
Competitions are conducted to enlighten and encourage students’ individual talent and teamwork.
English being the Universal language is the campus Language in SMHSS. Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing (LSRW) skills are enriched through various activities and assessments. Grammar is taught connecting with the real life situations, thus, it is not another subject for children here at SMHSS.
Tamil classes are enriched Tamil by making the children speak only in Tamil with refined vocabulary. Basic grammar is taught with various teaching aids such as flash cards etc., which helps them differentiate related things easily.
To know the importance of Hindi, interactive teaching makes the children acquire good knowledge in LSRW skills which includes the importance of our national language.
Math skills provided at the early stage itself which sets the building blocks for the entire academic carrier. Without the knowledge of numeracy, children are not prepared to move into elementary education.
Well – developed classroom with projector facility to demonstrate videos on topics to present the content. Different kinds of experiments, sample collection by students helps in their individual development of understanding EVS.
Students find computer classes enjoyable. When children join our family they learn children centered techniques such as Desene Animate, Digidocs Tuxpaint, MS Word to get the standard level of Computer operating knowledge.
The teachers play a vital role in shaping the children at Primary level. They create a conducive learning environment for children, nurturing them in all dimensions of their lives - physically mentally, socially, emotionally, morally, and spiritually - while making them more responsive by providing discipline and quality education. The main focus is on LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) through various activities and the use of audio-visual aids. The purpose of our institution is to create responsible citizens who can face challenges, find solutions boldly, prioritize respecting others' emotions, and become leaders for future generations.
Children are given practice in LSRW. Reading books are encouraged, and teaching correct pronunciation, appropriate words, sentence stress, and Intonation in English. Confidence is given to develop literary skills in language.

Through motivation, we help children learn Hindi, creating interest in writing skills with strokes, vowels, and consonants, and involving them to learn Hindi by giving practice in speaking skills. Importance is given to LSRW.
To develop the concept of numbers measurement counting etc to stimulate interest in the learning of mathematics to develop speed and accuracy in solving problems to give knowledge of different tables.

Teaching science is to maintain our environment in real-life situations. Encouraging and involving the children to do activities either practically or by understanding. By giving live classes and practical knowledge, learning by doing method and with live examples, engaging the children in an energetic way of learning.
Social science is a subject which covers major four parts of our daily life. We train our Children from scrap and start teaching from the basic. All our effort is being done to make a better citizen of India in the future.

Everyday a new vocabulary is acquainted to enrich the knowledge. Book review is done once in a month to make them read unfamiliar words, to enhance the reading skill. LSRW skills of the children are enhanced through various activities.

In Mathematics is dealt with precision giving a lot of scope to mould the children to practice and enjoy Math.
Physics is about what happens around us and teaching the subject practically and theoretically makes the children more knowledgeable and skilful.

Teachers converse only in Hindi to enhance the communication of our children. Children are given the task of narrating stories based on the lessons taught in the class to make them speak Hindi fluently.
Computer Science classes expose the children to learn new aspects. The online exams & practical’s in computer science makes the children aware of the usage of computers.
A textbook is a complete compendium of content in any streams of study. The syllabus gives the idea about the topics covered. Textbook executes and connects each topic in ascending order of their difficulty level. This simple presentation of all chapters along with an infinite number of real-life examples, activities makes students involve deep into subjects.
